t was once a privilege reserved for Jack Daniel's Master Distiller.
Exploring the nuances of whiskey from a single barrel. Today, connoisseurs around the world
can savor this experience on their own.
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey, the world's first
charcoal mellowed single barrel Tennessee Whiskey, allows
whiskey aficionados to sample the work of individual
barrels, comparing the subtle differences imbued by each barrel's
unique oak wood and aging experience.
What is it about one barrel that can so effortlessly create one unique
flavor? Every barrel of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel absorbs its own personality and character
from its charred White American Oak barrel and its special location in the warehouse.
The full flavorful character and dark amber color of Jack Daniel's Single
Barrel comes, in part, from aging the whiskey barrels in the upper floors of the warehouses
where the spirit enjoys a more intense maturation.
Though every bottle is charcoal mellowed and crafted by the
Jack Daniel Distillery, each bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey yields
a subtle taste difference,
and bears a neckband with its rick, barrel number and individual bottling date.
"With Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 we've always promised the same fine mellow
sipping taste Mr. Jack first distilled and the world has come to expect," according to Jack
Daniel's Master Distiller
Jeff Arnett. "Jack Daniel's Single Barrel allows us to
share with connoisseurs the individual taste of single barrels of our charcoal mellowed
whiskey."
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is currently available in the United States, Canada, Spain, France,
Germany, Italy, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Andorra, Ireland, and
Switzerland. If not now, soon. |

Jack Daniel’s Presents 2008 Ducks Unlimited Bottle
For the third straight year, the Jack Daniel Distillery has partnered with Ducks Unlimited to offer a special bottling of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey and help support the organization’s mission to conserve North America’s wetlands.
A portion of the sales proceeds from the 2008 Ducks Unlimited Commemorative Bottle goes directly to the conservation efforts of Ducks Unlimited, which formed in 1936 as a way to save North America’s waterfowl and their habitats. Sales from the 2007 Ducks Unlimited Commemorative Bottle raised $116,000.
Each of this year’s limited-edition Ducks Unlimited bottle includes a “collector’s band” and a special cork stopper with the official Duck head logo. Connoisseurs of fine whiskey will appreciate the rich amber color and robust flavor of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel, which is hand-bottled one barrel at a time.
Ducks Unlimited is the world's largest and most effective waterfowl and wetlands organization. While it has conserved nearly 12 million acres during the last 70 years, over 100,000 acres of vital habitat are being lost each year. The challenge is great.
